1950 Peter Pan Records "Happy Birthday" / "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" Red Vinyl 78 - The Caroleers

A charming slice of mid-century childhood, this 1950 Peter Pan Records release pairs "Happy Birthday" with "For He's a Jolly Good Fella," performed by The Caroleers. Pressed on bright red "non-breakable" vinyl by Synthetic Plastics Co. of Newark, New Jersey, it was made for little hands and big birthday parties.

The record still plays, though with noticeable scratchy background noise, so it's best appreciated as a display piece or a collector's curiosity. The original illustrated paper sleeve has survived with lovely bright color, showing expected wear and some bends and open along two sides.

Comes from a climate-controlled, smoke-free collection and is carefully packed for safe arrival. A fun find for collectors of vintage children's records, red vinyl, or 1950s ephemera.
