1948 Santa Claus Die-Cut Picture Disc 78 RPM - "I Wish That I Were Santa Claus" / "Jingle Bells"

A charming slice of holiday history: this 1948 US-pressed 7" 78 RPM die-cut picture disc features Santa Claus artwork printed right onto the record itself. Side one plays "I Wish That I Were Santa Claus" and the flip side offers a rendition of the classic "Jingle Bells."

Nearly 80 years old and honestly worn, this one shows its age — there's a slight bend to the die-cut lift areas, some wear along the bottom color band, and graphic loss at the top of Santa's hat. Even so, the colors remain bright and vivid, and the disc still plays, scratches and all, with plenty of crackly vintage character.

It makes a wonderful display piece for a mantel, shelf, or Christmas collection. Ships protected in a plastic record sleeve from a climate-controlled, smoke-free home, and multiple purchases can be combined to save on shipping.
