I put up a chicken-wire fence around my garden, which had no chance of survival because of the bunny population where I live. The garden is beautiful, but incredible for the massive population of honeybees, bumblebees, butterflies, and hummingbirds that visit it. It is a treat to go out early in the morning and watch them flying around happily. I did not post the picture of the ornamental artichoke plant that is over 6 feet tall with huge blooms that the bees love. I recommend that every gardener who has the space buy one. They are perennials here in NC and spread every year. Don't forget to start gathering your seeds for next year. After they are completely dry, I place them in an airtight jar and store them in a cool, dark place. Let me know if you have a special plant in your garden. I will be loading a puzzle called I love your wings to this site shortly. It iis a picture of butterflies I designed last year. I will sign the first 24 puzzles sold. There is a limited quantity available. Greeat for the cold winter expected.
