Not a week goes by that I don't hear someone refer to "low-hanging fruit." The expression refers to an easy task, goal, or target that can be achieved with very little effort. Low-hanging fruit literally means fruit on the lower branches, easy to pick.
The idiomatic meaning is similar: the simplest problems or most obvious opportunities we deal with before moving on to harder work.
AI is changing the world rapidly, and the full results are still to be learned. Will there be such a thing as low-hanging fruit anymore? With everyone sharing in the same science and tools, what will actually differentiate us as individuals?
My simple answer: don't let computers make your decisions for you. Read what you like. Decorate to your own personality. Collect what makes you happy. Rely on your uniqueness, your individuality, and your common sense. Teach your friends and children, and share your passions.
